The DNS Propagation tab is available at
/dns-propagation/<domain>. It checks one record type
across a small set of public recursive resolver networks and shows whether
their answers agree.
Supported record types
StatsDen supports A, AAAA, CNAME,
MX, TXT, NS, and SOA
propagation checks. Select the record type from the checker toolbar.
How to read results
- Resolver: the public resolver network queried.
- Answer: the records, timeout, or error returned by that resolver.
- Differs: a row label shown when an answer does not match the consensus answer.
- Time: the query response time in milliseconds.
Important limits
These are global anycast resolver-network checks, not country-specific probes. Results are live and are not persisted. DNS Propagation is available to logged-in users.
