These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and CodeHill LLC ("CodeHill," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of StatsDen, including its website, accounts, domain-analysis tools, official application programming interface ("API"), and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" includes it.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may not transfer an account or impersonate another person or organization.

The Service and Third-Party Data

StatsDen retrieves and presents technical information from DNS, RDAP, WHOIS, HTTP, TLS, registry, registrar, geolocation, and other third-party sources. Results may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, unavailable, or cached. They are provided for general informational purposes and are not legal, security, investment, valuation, or domain-availability advice. You are responsible for independently verifying information before relying on it.

We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of the Service. We do not guarantee that a particular lookup source, feature, domain extension, or interface will remain available.

Automation and API Use

You may automate access only through the official StatsDen API and only in accordance with its documentation, credentials, rate limits, and additional terms. Scraping, crawling, browser automation, bulk requests through website forms, or bypassing the API is prohibited. No future protocol, integration, or interface—including an MCP interface—is authorized unless and until CodeHill expressly makes it available for automated use.

You may not evade rate limits, rotate identities or addresses to avoid restrictions, share API credentials, or use an API in a way that disrupts StatsDen or a third-party data provider. We may meter, throttle, or block automated access.

Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to:

  • violate law, regulation, contractual obligations, or third-party rights;
  • harass, threaten, stalk, defraud, or invade another person's privacy;
  • probe, scan, or test systems without authorization, or facilitate an attack, malware, denial of service, spam, phishing, or credential abuse;
  • interfere with the Service or third-party infrastructure, defeat security controls, or access nonpublic systems or data;
  • submit unlawful content or malicious inputs;
  • resell, reproduce, or build a competing dataset or service from StatsDen except as expressly permitted under an applicable paid plan or API agreement; or
  • misrepresent StatsDen results, CodeHill's endorsement, or your identity.

You are responsible for ensuring that your lookups and use of results are lawful and authorized.

Paid Plans

We may offer paid plans, API usage, or other purchases. Prices, included usage, billing periods, renewal terms, taxes, cancellation rights, and any refund policy presented at checkout form part of these Terms. Unless checkout terms state otherwise, subscriptions automatically renew for the same period until canceled before the renewal date. You authorize us and our payment provider to charge the selected payment method for applicable fees and taxes.

We may change prices prospectively by giving notice required by law. Except as required by law or stated at checkout, fees already paid are nonrefundable.

Ownership and License

The Service, software, design, branding, and original content are owned by CodeHill or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, CodeHill grants you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. Third-party lookup data remains subject to the rights and terms of its source.

If you provide feedback, you grant CodeHill a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use it without restriction or payment.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and is incorporated into these Terms.

Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure, failed to pay fees, or threatened the Service or others. Where practical, we may provide notice and an opportunity to cure, but we are not required to do so in urgent or serious cases.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limitations, indemnity, and dispute provisions—will survive.

Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE AND ALL RESULTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." CODEHILL DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, SECURITY, AND AVAILABILITY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT RESULTS ARE COMPLETE OR CURRENT OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CODEHILL AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AFFILIATES, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THEIR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID CODEHILL FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR US$100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of these terms may not apply to you.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CodeHill and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and licensors from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person's rights.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post revised Terms, update the effective date, and provide additional notice when required. Changes apply prospectively. Your continued use after they take effect means you accept them.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Except where applicable law requires otherwise, the state and federal courts located in Delaware will have exclusive jurisdiction, and you and CodeHill consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there.

General Terms

These Terms and any additional terms presented for a feature or purchase are the entire agreement about the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be modified only as necessary and the remaining provisions will remain effective. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; CodeHill may assign them in connection with a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
